This is a second version of my pre-viz only this time I have done the animations in time with the poem so I could work out the length of the shots.

It's really good to see this pre-vis, Rhia: I hope just getting it in time with your narration enables you to get a clear sense of what you're making - and just how much work there is ahead of you! Now that you've got this version, I suggest you start approaching composers, as you've got the duration now and I think another creative could start to work with this usefully. What this version makes clear is the vital-importance of facial animation to your story-telling - Moom's charms are doing a lot of the work in this pre-vis, which means that your characters have a big job to do in terms of us reading their personalities easily. I know you're still working on your character designs, but there's lots of additional design work here - the ears of corn, those 'inserts' showing us the various different scenes. I'm still looking for evidence, Rhia, that you've caught hold of the art direction for your WHOLE film - I'm still not 100% confident that you 'know' what your visual language is... for example: 'A world of carved wood' or 'A world made of paper-machie' or 'A world of old porcelain' and so on. It's clear there's a clock-work-y / automata / puppet-theatre thing going on - which I think is going to be the defining charm of your film - and I'll be looking for reassurances that you can 'see this' as it relates to every little bit of your film - for example; if the logic of your story world is a sort of 'puppet show', then all those stars at the beginning - what are they? Are they star-shaped glittery cut-outs dangling at the end of string? (for example).

    One thing - I do think you need to speed up, Rhia. I know you're 'doing and thinking' in terms of your character designs, but there's so much else for you to understand when it comes to your characters (rigging/2D face rigs/texturing etc) that you need to give yourself a new deadline in terms of signing off on your characters and be prepared to move on.
