Can't dicide which disintegrator design to use. This only appears for a few second in the animation so isn't as heavily designed as the other parts that will appear. Any feed back is welcomed.
G1 Phase Checkpoint S Phase Checkpoint G2 Phase Checkpoint M Phase Checkpoint Each of the checkpoints has it's own colour so that it is easier to tell them apart.
As my checkpoints are going to be mostly white I thought that to tell them apart each of them would have it's own colour. Some of these colour choses came from looking at images of cells where as others were sets of colours that I thought would work well together. Any feedback is welcomed.
These first three thumbnails where done before I gave my pitch as I was trying to work out what the checkpoint would look like and how I could make them look like a character. These thumbnails were done after I got some feed back on the art style I was using. I had step a way from the metallic gray that I was using and make the checkpoints seem more clear and friendly. After this I started looking at the Portal games and the art style that has been used for it, mostly white with small amount of colour. Any feed back is welcomed.
This is just a mock up for the interface design that I am planing to use. The role of the interface is to show what is going on inside the cell and to show the information on the screen. I don't plan to have it laid out this way as I'm just trying to work out what colour would work best, I am personally stuck between Green, Yellow and Cyan. Any feed back or ideas are welcomed. Green Yellow Blue Red Cyan
I had been trying to work out what the cells in my animation would look like and so have been refining some of my designs from my pervious thumbnails, along with trying to work out what colour scheme would work best. Any feed back is welcomed.
With these thumbnails I was trying to put together the different elements of my final design. Numbers 91 to 93 was just me trying to work out in what way I should show my city and how the hot air balloons should relate to the buildings. 91 had the city off to the side alittle and the hot air balloons where showen to be quite large conpared to the buildings. I had throught of using a bird's eye view of the city as show in number 92. After doing this sketch however I felt that it wouldn't really work when showing the geomerty of the buildings. It did, however, help me work out how I might arranging the different buildings. 93 was more or less was I was aiming for as I had the buildings evenly sprend out and the balloons where not dwarfing them. I then moved this idea over to sketch 94 where I put it agesnt the backdrop that I wanted to use for my matte painting.
To get us ready for our next project we were set with the task of combining an animal with an everyday object. This was to get us into the mind set of doing research so that we could create a better set of ideas that we could work from. Animal: Sloth Object: Wardrobe
